Why isn't my activation code working?

Here's how to troubleshoot an activation code that's not working:

Are you entering the activation code into the right field? If you're activating Barcode Producer (and not a plug-in), you should only fill out the fields at the top of the activation screen.
Does your Barcode Producer license match the version of the software you're trying to activate? Make sure you are working with the correct version.
The user name field's contents don't need to match your order – just make sure you enter something.
Copy and paste the activation code directly into the code field – don't type it, to make sure "0" and "O" characters and the like are properly entered.
